    Tour Guide & Driver Service: After breakfast, drive to the center of Beijing City to see the world's largest square - Tiananmen Square. Passing over the Golden Water Bridge, you will enter a palace complex - the Forbidden City. The former Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty — the years 1420 to 1912, it now houses the Palace Museum. The Forbidden City served as the home of emperors and their households as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government for almost 500 years.

    In the afternoon, proceed to visit the beautiful royal landscaped garden - Jingshan Park. Standing at the top of the hill inside this park, you can get a commanding view of the Forbidden City.

    Later, you will be escorted to visit the Temple of Heaven. Founded in the first half of the 15th century, it is a dignified complex of fine cult buildings set in gardens and surrounded by historic pine woods. The Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties visited the temple for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.

    Activities for today: Mutianyu Great Wall, Beijing Olympic Park

    Tour Guide & Driver Service: Today drive about 70 km to witness one of the Seven Wonders of the World – Great Wall. The less-crowded Mutianyu, a well-preserved segment of Great Wall built in Ming Dynasty, lives up to all of your nice expectation. Take cable car (optional) or walk about 40 minutes to set your feet on Great Wall. Climb up the rising towers to enjoy scenic views as the wall wriggling along mountain ridges, and take brag-worthy photos of the wall. Drive back to Beijing City and take a short stop at the Beijing Olympic Park to view the magnificent Bird’s Nest and Water Cube from the outside (not enter the venues).

    Beijing Driver Service: Today, our Beijing driver will escort you to Beijing Capital International Airport for the flight to Guiilin.

    Guilin Tour Guide & Driver Service: Upon Arrival at Guilin Liangjiang Airport, meet our guide and check in your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

    Activities for today: Reed Flute Cave, lakes in the city center, Elephant Trunk Hill

    Tour Guide & Driver Service: After breakfast, drive to visit the Reed Flute Cave, which is known as "the Palace of Natural Arts". It is a natural limestone cave with multicolored lighting and has been one of Guilin's most interesting attractions for more than 1200 years. Next, drive back to the city area, and visit the the lake area in the city center, where you’ll walk around the beautiful lakes. As you walk, your guide will share stories and anecdotes, and answer any questions you have about local life in the city. Later, move on to visit Elephant Trunk Hill. The hill is the symbol of Guilin and it looks like a giant elephant drinking water from Li River.

  • Day6 Guilin/Yangshuo/Guilin

    Activities for today: Li River Cruise to Yangshuo, West Street

    Tour Guide & Driver Service: Pick up at the hotel this morning. Today you'll be heading out to Zhujiang Pier for the Li River Cruise to Yangshuo. You will enjoy a relaxing 3.5 - 4 hours cruise going down a clear river sided by picturesque scenery. Lunch will be the simple Chinese buffet on the aboard. Make sure you bring your camera, as there will be plenty of great photo opportunities! Upon arrival at Yangshuo, have a leisure walk on the West Street. In the late afternoon, drive back to your hotel in Guilin, where your short break tour comes to an end.

Private Transfers:
Between airports / railway station, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in the cities specified in the itinerary by the private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.
Entrance fees:
All entrance fees to scenic spots as listed above in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by local tour guides based on the local circumstances which are beyond the control of LocalChengduTours. ZTG will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.
Meals:
All meals as specified in the itinerary. “B” stands for western breakfast “L” for Chinese Lunch in local Chinese restaurant. “D” for Chinese dinner in local Chinese restaurant. The quotation is basic on the above normal meals. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, or Indian food etc, please inform us in advance.
Private tour escort for Sightseeing:
Normal sightseeing activities as outlined in the Itinerary will be escorted with English-speaking guide.
The English-speaking guide and driver of each city accompany you throughout the entire tour in that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.
Accommodation (if include Yangtze Cruiser):
Service based on two adults sharing on one standard twin/double-bed room (cabin); solo travelers or those who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room/cabin of their own are required to pay additional charge of single supplement rate. A single room (cabin) is subject to availability based on prior request at an additional cost; if the recommended hotel is not available, it will be substituted by a similar class one.
All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
